Established by the United Nations in 2015 and endorsed by 193 member states, the SDGs provide a comprehensive framework for addressing critical global challenges, including poverty eradication, sustainable growth, and social equity. Thailand has prioritized these goals as a foundation for shaping national and organizational policies, reflecting their significance in guiding development efforts.

By referencing research aligned with the SDGs, individuals can enhance the relevance and impact of their work. It ensures that their contributions address pressing global issues while fostering collaboration and innovation within the context of sustainable development. At the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, research is categorized into five thematic groups corresponding to the 17 SDGs, creating a knowledge base that supports impactful and solution-driven academic and research outputs.
