On July 22, 2025, Chulalongkorn University held its "𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲" event, providing free public health check-ups focused on physical, mental, work, and financial well-being. The event marked both International Self-Care Day and the 8th anniversary of the "Chula HealthStreet" community health initiative.
The event was organized and led by the College of Public Health Sciences, under the leadership of its dean, Prof. Chitlada Areesantichai, with collaboration from approximately 20 other faculties within the university. University President, Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, stated that the initiative reflects Chula's commitment to caring for the people in its communities, viewing it as a starting point for sustainable community development. The "Chula HealthStreet" program is recognized as Thailand's first urban community health innovation and has already served over 8,200 people.
